N2 - The present report was prepared further to a review undertaken by the Disarmament, Demobilization, and Reintegration (DDR) Section of the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations on the United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) from 5-18 June, 2009. The review mission included meetings with all relevant UN and national government actors, as well as representatives from civil society and ex-combatants. The purpose of the evaluation mission was to assess programs for ex-combatant reintegration designed and implemented by UNMIL’s Reintegration, Rehabilitation and Recovery (RRR) Section.
