Abstract
I was invited to contribute a chapter to the Routledge Companion to Cult Cinema by the book's authors. My chapter is on the relationship between underground film and cult cinema, and uses the American experimental filmmaker Ron Rice as a focus through which to explore how these two types of cinema overlap and intersect.
