Research output: Book/ReportBook

Abstract

This third edition of Thinking German Translation revised and rewritten. It provides a systematic approach to learning advanced translation from German by taking the student step by step through aspects of the translation process. It encourages the thinking through of translation decisions and their implications by guiding the student through theoretical problems and explains how these problems have been conceptualized by translation theory, giving students both the tools to solve their own problems and to engage with scholarship.
