Abstract
Where we fit in to the puzzle: The world is standing at a
crossroads and with large‐scale challenges and difficulties facing us
all, the role of chemists in upcoming developments will continue to be a
crucial one. In this article, the United Nations 17 Sustainable Goals
are outlined and highlighted to show where chemists will fit into the
puzzle of trying to reshape and reform the environment and industrial
practices so that targets can be reached.
