Abstract

The application to the two series of classical twisted affine Kac-Moody algebras A(l)((2)) (for l greater than or equal to 2) and D-l((2)) (for l greater than or equal to 3) of the matrix formulation of automorphisms developed earlier for untwisted affine Kac-Moody algebras is investigated. The conjugacy classes of involutive automorphisms and the corresponding real forms are deduced explicitly for the special case of A(2)((2)).
