Abstract

Showcasing 'Tentsmuir' the 2nd movement of John Wallace's Symphony for Brass Band was premiered in November 2016 at the St. Andrew's Festival of Brass, with Marco Blaauw (double-bell trumpet), Alistair MacDonald (live electronics), and The Cooperation Band conducted by Bede Williams. It was recorded by these artists in February 2017.

This is a visual representation of the 2nd movement using this 2017 recording and includes photographs from Tentsmuir itself, demonstrating why it was such an inspirational location for John Wallace as a composer.
