Abstract

The reactions of aminobis(phosphines), Ph2PN(R)PPh2 (R = H, Me, Et, '' Pr, '' Bu, Ph), with Me2Pt(COD) led to the formation of four-membered metallacycles in good yield. The enthalpies of the ligand substitution reactions are measured by the anaerobic solution calorimetry in THF at 30 degrees C. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
