Abstract
New phosphines containing the homopiperazine backbone have been prepared. The X-ray structure of the P(III) phosphine and its P(V) sulphide are compared. The P-N bond length is shortened on oxidation from P(III) to P(V). (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
