Abstract
K[N{P(S)Ph-2}(2)], K[N{P(O)Ph-2}(2)], K[PhC(O)NP(S)Ph-2] and K[(C5H4N)C(S)NP(S)Ph-2] were reacted with [(H2NPPh2)(2)N]Cl-+(-) to give [(H2NPPh2)(2)N](+) [N{P(S)Ph-2}2](-), [(H2NPPh2)(2)N](+) [N{P(O)Ph-2}(2)](-) [(H2NPPh2)(2)N](+) [PhC(O)NP(S)Ph-2](-) and [(H2NPPh2)(2)N](+) [C5H4NC(S)-NP(S)Ph-2](-) respectively. Single crystal X-ray studies of [(H2NPPh2)(2)N](+) [N(P(S)Ph-2}(2)](-) reveal multiple cross hydrogen bonding between the two ions.
