This is a guidebook to St Augustine's Abbey at Canterbury. It is one of English Heritage's Red Guides. The text, which was double blind peer reviewed, is in two sections, covering the architectural development of the monastery in a longer first section and a history of the monastery that emphasizes material culture in a sorter second section.
