Abstract

The synthesis of compounds containing P-Se bonds is discussed. Many example preparations of such species are provided. The synthesis and multifaceted reactions of Woollins' reagent, PhP(Se)Se₂P(Se)Ph, are described with emphasis on the best synthetic methods to a diverse array of P-Se derivatives, including P-Se containing heterocycles.
