Abstract
During 2006 the Scottish Executive began a far reaching review of community nursing. It was decided to test a new model of community nursing in four development sites. This report outlines the key findings from a study designed to provide quantitative and qualitative evidence of the views and satisfaction of community health nurses in these four sites with their current role and their views on a proposed new model of community nursing in Scotland.
