Restricted randomization versus blocking

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Restricted randomization has advantages over artificial blocking for small numbers of plots. Good restricted randomization schemes for 2 or 4 treatments on 8 plots in a 2 \times 4 rectangle are tabulated. The use of one scheme for a series of fungicide experiments is described.
