Abstract

In our article (Jensen et al. 2020), we found spinal motoneurons to be intrinsically more excitable at two different time points in the adult SOD1(G93A) mouse (one pre-symptomatic and one symptomatic time point). This was in contrast to previous publications of the Manuel/Zytnicki group (Delestrée et al. 2014; Martínez-Silva et al. 2018). In their letter regarding our paper, Drs Manuel and Zytnicki raise two concerns to question the validity of our results, which we are happy to address.
