Abstract

The use of different floras has introduced an element of confusion into the naming of plants in pollen diagrams. It is suggested that pollen analysis in the British Isles should adopt the latest authoritative thinking and a draft list of pollen types consistent with the flora by Stace (1991) has been produced. -K.Clayton
