Rapid Measurement of the Apparent Transference Number and Salt Diffusion Coefficient in Solid Polymer Electrolytes

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

A method for estimating simultaneously the apparent cationic transference number and diffusion coefficient of a salt in a solid polymer electrolyte from a single transient potential step measurement is presented. The concentration dependence of these variables was measured for a lithium salt in a Kynar-based polymer electrolyte gel. (C) 1999 The Electrochemical Society. S1099- 0062( 98) 11- 031- 3.
