Bernhard Struck, Claire Gantet

Research output: Book/ReportBook

Abstract

The monograph analyses the complex interconnection of the Holy Roman Empire and France during the French Revolution and the Napoleonic period. It is conceived as a book that aims at tying together different methodological strands, most importantly comparative and transfer history as well as transnational perspectives. Key to the monograph is to question concepts of the ‘nation’, space and in particular borderlands as zones of interaction as well as time frames and periodization in comparative and transnational history.
