Project ANGEL: An open virtual learning environment with sophisticated access management

Abstract

The development of virtual learning environment was discussed. Bibliographic databases and full-text electronic journals with a sophisticated access management to permit single sign-on authentication were used. It was found that it will help to achieve coordinated planning between the administrative and academic domains and also provide a useful environment for students.
