Abstract

The X-ray crystal structure of the title compound reveals that the planar [S4N3]+ cations surround the Cl- anion with an array of S(delta+) .... Cl- interactions. The FT Raman spectrum shows significant reduction of the nu(SS) frequency in the title compound cf. [S4N3]Cl.
