Abstract

The title compound, C21H17N5, was prepared using a microwave-induced condensation reaction between 5-amino3-methyl-1-phenylpyrazole and formaldehyde. The molecules lie across twofold rotation axes in space group C2/c and are into chains by a pi - pi stacking interaction.
