Abstract

We have obtained direct evidence for the coexistence of a spin density wave (SDW) with bulk superconductivity in the SC layer in a FM/SC/FM bilayer. The enhancement of the SDW amplitude in the superconducting state, and moreover the π/2 phase shift of one component of the SDW below T c, indicating a coupling between the superconducting and magnetic order.
