Abstract

X-Ray analysis revealed that the participation of functional groups of the macrocycle in hydrogen bonding leads to the formation of crystal lattices with unprecedent linear polymeric chains ... Cu ... Hal ... Cu ... Hal .... The presence of Cu--Hal interaction confirmed by spectroscopic methods makes these compounds promising for development of new materials possessing anisotropic physical properties.
