Abstract

The title compound, C13H15BrINO, contains two molecules in the asymmetric unit which are linked into dimeric associations by way of very short C-I center dot center dot center dot O interactions [I center dot center dot center dot O = 2.998 (4) and 3.044 (4) angstrom]. The cyclopentane rings of both molecules are disordered; the site occupancy ratios are ca 0.54:0.46 and 0.59:0.41.
