Abstract

The preparation of complexes of the type {Pt(R(3)P)(2)[(SPR(2))(2)N]}X(R = Ph, OPh, X = Cl, PF6-) and {Pt(PR(3))[N(SPR(2)')(2)]Cl} is described. The new complexes have been characterized by NMR and IR, microanalyses and in the case of {Pt(PPh(3))[N(SPPh(2))(2)]Cl} by X-ray crystallography. The PtS2P2N ring adopts a pseudo-boat conformation.
