Abstract

Deprotonation of aminophenol (ampH(3)) followed by reaction with SnCl4 . 5H(2)O or Al(OPri)(3) gives Sn(ampH(2))(2)Cl-2 (1) and Al(ampH(2))(3) (2). The X-ray structure of 1 reveals cis, cis, trans coordination, although in solution the Sn-119 NMR indicates a mixture of isomers.
