Abstract
Macroporous Li(Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3)O-2 is prepared by a simple synthesis procedure. The material has excellent electrochemical performance as a high-energy, high-power intercalation electrode (see figure) for rechargeable lithium batteries. ne results illustrate the important role of morphology in determining the performance of lithium-ion cathodes.
