Abstract

A novel aluminophosphate chain structure, Al(H2PO4)(2)F, has been synthesised ionothermally using the hydrophobic ionic liquid 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis((trifluoromethyl) sulfonyl) amide as the solvent.
