Abstract

We have detected inverse P Cygni type profiles at H delta in the spectrum of DR Tau. These profiles appeared and disappeared on a time-scale of hours. Since our data set is of high time resolution, we can use the variability to place constraints on the size of the obscuring region, which we interpret to be a magnetically funnelled accretion stream crossing the line of sight.
