Abstract

Molecules of 3-( 5- chloro- 3- methyl- 1- phenyl- 1H- pyrazol- 4- yl)1-( 4-methoxyphenyl) propenone, C20H17ClN2O2, ( I), are linked into C( 10) chains and molecules of 3-( 5- chloro-3- methyl- 1- phenyl- 1H- pyrazol- 4- yl)- 1-( 3,4,5- trimethoxyphenyl) propenone, C22H21ClN2O4, ( II), are linked into C( 14) chains, in each case by means of a single C - H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond.
