Abstract

—This paper introduces Armadillo, a Virtual World client that allows Virtual Worlds to be used as a platform for immersive environments. Natural User Input devices such as the Kinect open up the possibility of more intuitive methods of interacting with virtual content. Virtual Worlds provide a great base for creating virtual content. Bringing them together allows for easier experimentation with Kinect style user input and novel new ways of interacting with existing content.
