Abstract

This practical guide for the preservation of filmstrips is shaped by discussions held during an international workshop with archivists in November 2025, and further aided by feedback from other European and non-European archives. The guide not only seeks to enhance archival knowledge of filmstrip collections but also aims to offer a template to preserve and make valuable other obsolete and overlooked media forms.
