Abstract

Reaction of N-15-labelled ammonia with a toluene solution of (EtO)2SeO under reduced pressure gives (Se4N4)-N-15; in the presence of [PtCl2(PMe2Ph)2] (with CH2Cl2 as solvent) the same reagents yield [Pt(Se2N2)-N-15 (PMe2Ph)2] whilst (NH3)-N-15, [PtCl2(PMe2Ph)2] and SOCl2 react to form [Pt(NSO)2)-N-15-(PMe2Ph)2].
