Abstract
The title racemic oxopyrrolidine compound, C13H17NO5, contains three stereogenic centres and crystallized with two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit. The five-membered pyrrolidine ring in both molecules exhibit an envelope
conformation. In the crystal, independent molecules form dimers through O–H···O hydrogen bonds which then are linked together by weak C–H···O hydrogen bonds.
