Abstract

Infers that there were c32 500 Balaenoptera acutorostrata (SE 6970) in the W half of Antarctic Area IV S of 59oS during the 1984/85 austral summer. This converts to 19 750 takeable minke whales (SE 4030) S of 60oS. -from Author
