Abstract

This workshop raises Sino-Foreign EAP teachers’ awareness of students’ cultural backgrounds, related challenges, and strategies to address them. It explores the concept of culture, examines cultural differences in the classroom, shares student quotes, and offers suggestions to help students bridge the gap from their first culture to that of EAP.
