Abstract

Over the past ten years a growing number of writers and artists from Hong Kong have established themselves elsewhere in the global Hong Kong diaspora. As a result of dwindling freedoms in the former British colony, this tendency can only intensify. In the autumn of 2023, a discussion at the University of St Andrews, led by Gregory Lee, addressed the evolution and future of creativity in the evolving Hong Kong Chinese diaspora.
