Continuous-wave singly-resonant intracavity optical parametric oscillator based on periodically-poled LiNbO3

Abstract

A singly-resonant optical parametric oscillator using PPLN and operating intracavity to a continuous-wave Ti:sapphire laser is described. The oscillator exhibits multi-parameter pump-and grating-tuning of signal and idler wavelengths over the ranges 1.073-1.275 mu m and 2.30-3.33 mu m and 280mW output power. Observation of thermal lensing in PPLN is also reported.
