Abstract

This chapter examines Christina Rossetti's status as the theologian among the Pre-Raphaelites, focusing on the centrality of Christology in her devotional poetry. In so doing, the chapter offers new directions for Pre-Raphaelite studies, especially with respect to the theological work Rossetti's poetry accomplishes.
