Abstract

In this mini-review, we present a summary of our recent work in the field of palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions, with emphasis on the use of nucleophilic N-heterocyclic carbenes (NHC) as ancillary ligand. The palladium-mediated coupling reactions investigated include the Suzuki-Miyaura, Kumada-Tamao-Corriu, Heck, Sonogashira, Stille, Hiyama and aryl animation reactions. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V.
