Abstract

In the title compound, NH4+.C7H8N5O4-.H2O, the independent components are linked into bilayers by an extensive series of two-centre N-H...O hydrogen bonds [H...O = 1.85 - 1.96 Angstrom, N...O = 2.776 (2) - 2.840 (2) Angstrom and N - H...O = 149 - 172 degrees], and by asymmetric three-centre N - H ...(O)(2), O - H ...(N, O) and O - H ...(O)(2) hydrogen bonds.
