Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

This essay places into juxtaposition the Social War and the events of Easter 1916 in Ireland, another war between neighbours and one profoundly influenced by longstanding power imbalances and turned into myth immediately and thereafter, and seeks to re-order our knowledge of the Social War into different categories. The essay seeks to encourage different ways of thinking about the Social War.
