Abstract
A scandium terephthalate with isolated ScO6 octahedra and fully-linked carboxylate groups is prepared hydrothermally and possesses a novel hybrid framework structure with high thermal stability and a pore volume for N-2 adsorption of 0.26 cm(3) g(-1) at 77 K.
