Abstract
William Whitaker, a sixteenth century Anglican divine, was a prominent apologist of the Protestant and Anglican faith against such opponents as Bellarmine. "A Disputation on Holy Scripture" provides a cogent account of the Protestant view of the Christian faith and is significant reading in relation to Reformation studies.
