Abstract

The significance of soft skills in determining an individual's future success has been increasingly recognized by educators. Although there have been growing calls to bring soft skills education into the school curriculum, only a few soft skills curricula are found in elementary and secondary mainstream education. To address this gap, this study conceptually designs an online platform - Edu-Shine for children and youth's soft skills education. Edu-Shine is a high-resolution online platform that offers a unique and engaging learning experience. This study presents the learning platform's detailed design, including the architecture modules such as the Public Area, Learning Area, Course Creator, and API modules, facilitating more interactive and effective learning experiences between teachers and students. As a result, this research project aims to develop Edu-Shine as a conceptual online platform that promotes soft skills education to cater to children and youth development needs in the 21st century.
