Abstract

In the title compound, C8H7NO4, the molecules are linked into a three-dimensional framework structure by a combination of O-(HO)-O-..., C-(HO)-O-...( carbonyl) and C-(HO)-O-...( nitro) hydrogen bonds. Comparisons are made between the supramolecular structures of the three isomeric nitrophenylacetic acids.
