Abstract

近代史的書寫編輯過去幾年間，我一直在籌劃並研究一部名為《中華人民共和國1976-2025年政治文化史》的多卷本著作。然而，鑒於本書涉及當代且具有全球視野，過去數月間發生的國際地緣政治事件迫使我不得不重新審視該著作的史學立場與研究方法。本文將闡述其中緣由。Over the past few years, I have been planning and researching a multi-volume work entitled "A politico-cultural history of the People's Republic of China 1976-2025". However, given the contemporary and global reach of my book, geopolitical events over the past few months have obliged me to re-assess the historiographical and methodological compass of my work. Here I address why.
