Abstract

The molecules of 2-cyano-4-iodoacetanilide, C9H7IN2O, are linked by N-H center dot center dot center dot N and C-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds into chains of alternating R-2(2)(12) and R-2(2)(14) rings.
