Χρονορραφία (poetry)

The experimental collection of poems follows the journey of an anonymous and illiterate man growing up and living in Cyprus under British colonial rule in the first half of the 20th century. The eve of World War II finds him aboard a Greek steamship in Italian waters, en route to Marseille and eventually Britain. Along the way he encounters legendary historical and cultural figures including Columbus, John Knox, Cervantes, Rembrandt, Odysseus, Joyce and Kafka.
