Project Details
Key findings
The project, which is rooted in the production of a major new edition of the fragmentary Roman historians (forthcoming 2013/14) demonstrated the intimate relations between Roman historical thinking and contemporary political activity. Roman history can be seen to influence action and not simply to be the product of the retrojecton of contemporary concerns into the past.
