Flourishing Communities and Productive Seas

Dr Tim Stojanovic along with Prof Deborah Peel (Dundee) and team of Scottish academics won ~22K funding from the Scottish Universities Insight Initiative to develop a series of knowledge exchange events starting in November 2015. The events have involved public, private and voluntary sectors, plus community groups, and have drawn on Scottish and international experience to explore a range of issues such as blue growth; adopting an ecosystems approach, and securing environmental status- to support the development of Scotland’s fledgeling Marine Spatial Planning system.
